This role is crucial in supporting smooth daily cafe operations by ensuring that the dining area meets the highest standards of cleanliness and organization. Scheduled Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, this position offers a competitive hourly wage of $25.00. The Porter is responsible for tasks such as bussing and cleaning tables, sweeping floors during peak times, and preparing the dining space before service begins. Additional duties include following safety protocols when transporting dishes and utensils, washing dishware and kitchen equipment, scraping and rinsing plates, and maintaining display equipment up to compliance with safety and sanitation standards. In this role, you will also assist with receiving deliveries and ensure the safe transport to designated storage areas, all while adhering to safe lifting practices.
