Stifel Theatre, a prominent live entertainment venue, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Front of House Manager to join its Guest Experience leadership team. This full-time role is essential in managing and overseeing front-of-house operations, ensuring that every event runs smoothly while delivering exceptional service that embodies the high standards of Stifel Theatre. The Front of House Manager plays a crucial leadership role by directly managing guest experience staff and coordinating with various departments such as Building Operations, Safety & Security, and Production teams to provide a safe, welcoming, and memorable environment for all guests.
As a key member of the hospitality and events management sector within Stifel Theatre, the successful candidate will lead various aspects related to recruiting, training, scheduling, and developing event staff. This leadership role not only requires managing operational logistics but also fostering a positive, inclusive, and team-oriented work culture, thereby directly influencing guest satisfaction and overall experience quality. The position emphasizes safety and compliance, with the manager responsible for enforcing protocols and handling incidents collaboratively with security and building operations, ensuring industry and venue standards are consistently met.
Moreover, the role entails administrative responsibilities such as tracking staffing hours, preparing schedules, and generating detailed post-event reports to assess and improve procedures continually. The Front of House Manager also handles guest escalations and serves as a primary point of contact during events, demonstrating excellent interpersonal and communication skills. This position demands flexibility, including the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, accommodating the dynamic schedule of live entertainment events at Stifel Theatre and sometimes at the Enterprise Center.
Candidates will need proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and preferred experience with ticketing, scheduling, and incident management software to efficiently handle operational demands. Physical requirements include standing and walking for extended periods and occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds. Certifications such as CPR, First Aid, or crowd management are preferred or the willingness to obtain these certifications is necessary.

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 3 years leadership experience in entertainment or hospitality
