The Line Cook at Duffy's plays a crucial role in ensuring the seamless preparation and presentation of menu items according to the restaurant's recipes and portion control guidelines. Reporting directly to the Chef, the Line Cook is responsible for a broad range of kitchen tasks, including grilling, cooking, frying, plating, and garnishing food, as well as maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment. This position demands strong attention to detail, the ability to work efficiently under pressure, and excellent coordination with other kitchen staff to ensure that orders are prepared and served timely and accurately. The role requires physical stamina to stand for long periods, handle kitchen tools and equipment safely, and perform various repetitive movements. The Line Cook is also expected to uphold food safety standards, including proper storage, temperature monitoring, and maintaining the Food Handler's Certification.
