The Barista Associate is responsible for the full spectrum of duties in a small coffee shop setting, from cashiering and preparing drinks to ensuring cleanliness and adhering to safety protocols. Working with cleaning chemicals and exposure to hot water and steam is part of the role, with minimal hazards present when following standard precautions.
