Located at the Dallas Fort Worth Airport in Dallas, TX, Diverse Facility Solutions is currently seeking a full-time Custodian to join their second shift team. This vital role focuses on maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation, and overall safety of the buildings and facilities. The Custodian will be responsible for performing a wide array of custodial duties, including cleaning, trash removal, minor maintenance, and restocking supplies. This position demands individuals who possess knowledge of proper cleaning techniques or a willingness to learn them, ensuring that all areas remain in a healthy and sanitary condition. The Custodian’s day-to-day work will involve cleaning furniture and fixtures, vacuuming carpets, mopping hard floors, sanitizing restrooms, and ensuring all janitorial equipment and storage areas are safe, clean, and organized. In addition to maintaining the visible cleanliness of the facility, the Custodian must also be prepared to report or complete minor maintenance repairs, contributing to the overall upkeep and safety of the building. Safety protocols, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and appropriate chemical handling, are strictly enforced. This position is physically demanding and requires routine walking, standing, bending, and lifting heavy objects, demanding individuals who are physically capable and motivated to perform these tasks efficiently. The Custodian will work closely under the supervision of the Lead Custodian and Custodial Supervisor to ensure that all responsibilities are met with excellence. • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous custodial or janitorial experience is an advantage
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including walking, standing, bending and lifting heavy objects
• Strong follow-through on delegated tasks and assignments
• Ability to maintain cleanliness and safety standards
• Willingness to learn proper cleaning techniques
• Ability to adhere to safety protocols including the use of Personal Protective Equipment
