The General Manager (GM) role at Won't Stop Operations serves as the senior on-site leader responsible for the comprehensive oversight of all restaurant operations. Reporting directly to the Area Director, the GM works closely with the Assistant General Manager (AGM) to ensure smooth coordination between the front of house (FoH) and back of house (BoH) teams. The position demands a leader who is adept at both strategic planning and hands-on management, with key focuses on team development, operational efficiency, financial performance, and guest satisfaction.
In this role, the General Manager will be pivotal in driving the restaurant toward its budget goals by meticulously managing food and labor costs, overseeing purchasing and inventory control, and spearheading initiatives aimed at elevating operational standards. They will lead by example in maintaining high levels of food and beverage quality while fostering a positive, accountability-driven culture that motivates team members to perform at their best.
The GM also plays a critical role in ensuring compliance with relevant federal, state, and local regulations, including health, safety, sanitation policies, and liquor licensing requirements. Their leadership extends to actively engaging with guests during peak hours to enhance their dining experience, addressing feedback promptly to resolve any concerns, and supporting the Culinary Director with new menu implementations. The position requires a professional who combines a deep passion for hospitality with strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

- Two years of related experience and or training and two years leading and managing a restaurant operation
- Previous high-volume restaurant food and beverage experience preferred
- Supervisor experience required
- Basic knowledge of dining room and service procedures
- Ability to read write and speak fluently in the primary language of the property location
- Ability to read analyze and interpret general business periodicals technical procedures or governmental regulations
- Ability to write reports business correspondence and interpret procedure manuals
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of employees clients customers and the public
- Ability to define and solve problems dealing with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
- Ability to successfully reprioritize tasks in a moment's notice
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written oral diagram or schedule form
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts interest commissions proportions percentages and ratios
- Ability to meet budgets in all areas of cost control with consistent focus on cost of sales and payroll
