This full-time position as a Water Trough Server at Lone Star Court in Austin, TX, offers a salary starting at $12.00 per hour with additional earning potential through a retention program that can add up to $900 or more. As part of this award-winning team, the Water Trough Server is responsible for anticipating guest needs, providing attentive table service during breakfast, events, and meetings, and maintaining high standards of politeness and professionalism. Key responsibilities include engaging guests with a genuine interest, communicating clearly and eloquently without slang, and ensuring that all guest requests are handled efficiently without repetition. The role requires knowledge of menu items, beverages, and distilled spirits, along with proficiency in using the POS system Tabit and the ALICE system for managing guest requests. Physical demands include frequent standing, walking, bending, and carrying items weighing up to 40 pounds.
