The role of Healthcare Host/Hostess at Sodexo, located at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Cedar Crest, offers both full-time and part-time employment options with a competitive hourly pay rate of $18.00. This position is integral to ensuring a positive and comforting patient experience within the hospital environment. As a Healthcare Host/Hostess, you serve as a warm-welcomer and experience ambassador, whose commitment to customer service has a direct and meaningful impact on patient care. Your duties will include effectively communicating with patients, hospital staff, and guests to maintain accuracy and timeliness in delivering patient meal trays and managing floor stock. You will be responsible for recording special food requests, delivering meal carts, assisting with bedside meal setup ensuring direct patient contact, and properly discarding soiled trays. Managing inventory in nourishment areas, stocking supplies when needed, and operating technical equipment accurately are also key parts of your role.
