The Cake Decorator role is designed for individuals with a passion for baking and artistic flair, who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. This position will engage in day-to-day operations within our bakery department, executing customer orders with precision and care. The Cake Decorator must have a keen eye for food safety and sanitation and take responsibility for production, merchandising, and quality control of all bakery items. In addition to decorating cakes with icing, spatulas, icing bags, and tips, this role requires engaging with customers, sharing product knowledge, and ensuring a memorable experience. The position demands standing for extended periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, and maintaining high energy and enthusiasm throughout the shift. The role is well suited for team members who thrive on providing excellent customer service and have the creativity to make bakery products visually appealing. Employees will also participate in daily cleaning and sanitation tasks, maintain inventory by stocking and rotating items properly, and uphold safety standards. To succeed in this role, candidates must be at least 18 years old and, if applicable, 21 years old for positions involving alcohol service.
