The Airside Experience Specialist plays a vital role within Signature Aviation by ensuring safe and efficient support services for general aviation aircraft, crew, and guests at private aviation terminals (PAT). This position entails routine operation of various ground service equipment such as fuel trucks, de-icing trucks, ground power units, tugs, and stair trucks. The specialist is responsible for conducting multiple service functions including fueling, de-icing, lavatory servicing, ground power, potable water services, parking, marshalling, wing walking, catering delivery, towing, and luggage and cargo handling. Working in dynamic environments, often exposed to changing weather, jet engine fumes, dust, and noise, the Airside Experience Specialist ensures operational safety and seamless service delivery.
Flexible scheduling is an essential aspect of this role because services must be available around the clock, including night shifts, holidays, and weekends. The role demands close coordination and collaboration with team members, guests, clients, vendors, and aircraft crew to meet and exceed service expectations. The Airside Experience Specialist must demonstrate a committed and friendly attitude toward guest service, always aiming to provide an exceptional experience with professionalism and courtesy. The specialist also maintains secure and clean ramp operations, adhering strictly to operational policies, safety measures, and security protocols for physical, cyber, and data protection.
Additionally, the role requires attention to detail in fuel handling aspects such as quality control, documentation, fuel inventory management, and compliance with airport security regulations. Specialists must be proactive in identifying and addressing potential safety hazards, exercising good judgment to halt unsafe work and report concerns immediately. During critical events, following emergency response procedures and ensuring the safety of all stakeholders is paramount. Record-keeping for time and work activities is integral to the role, supporting operational transparency and accountability.

                - High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
 - Minimum of 18 years of age
 - Ability to pass company background checks (criminal and motor vehicle)
 - Drug tests
 - Meet airport background check requirements to receive and maintain an airport security badge
 - Be insurable by the Company's applicable insurance policies
 - Must be legally authorized to work in the jurisdiction of employment
 - Excellent vision and coordination to move and/or direct aircraft and visually inspect aircraft fuel
 - Ability to pass a color vision test for purposes of inspecting aviation fuel
 - Must possess a valid state driver’s license
 - In some locations a commercial driver’s license (CDL) is required as dictated by local regulations and business needs
 - Must be able to exercise good judgment and follow directions/directives from supervisor/management
