The Airside Experience Specialist role at Signature Aviation is pivotal in maintaining the seamless operation and safety of services provided within the private aviation terminal environment. This position primarily involves the operation of various ground service equipment to support general aviation aircraft, their crews, and guests. The role requires a flexible schedule, encompassing night, holiday, and weekend shifts, to meet the dynamic needs of airside operations. Airside Experience Specialists work in diverse weather conditions and in close proximity to aircraft, including exposure to jet engine fumes, noise, and moving aircraft components. Individuals in this role will perform a broad range of duties such as fueling, de-icing, lavatory servicing, ground power, potable water supply, parking management, marshalling, wing walking, catering delivery, and aircraft towing. They are also responsible for loading and unloading luggage and cargo, transporting guests safely via shuttle vehicles, and ensuring all airside activities adhere strictly to safety protocols and company policies. Team collaboration and effective communication are essential, as the specialist interacts regularly with guests, clients, vendors, and crew members. Safety vigilance is a critical aspect of this role, mandating that the specialist proactively identifies hazards, halts unsafe operations, and complies with emergency response procedures. Maintaining accurate operational records and enforcing security measures stands as a crucial responsibility. Pay for the Airside Experience Specialist ranges from $22.00 to $25.31 per hour, reflecting factors such as skill set, experience, shift timing, and location.   • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum 18 years of age
  • Pass company background checks including criminal and motor vehicle
  • Pass drug tests
  • Meet airport security badge requirements
  • Be insurable by company insurance policies
  • Legally authorized to work in jurisdiction of employment
  • Excellent vision and coordination
  • Pass color vision test for fuel inspection
  • Possess valid state driver’s license
  • Commercial driver’s license may be required by location
  • Ability to follow directions and exercise good judgment
  • Preferred 3 to 6 months aviation or customer service experience
