The role of the Assistant Manager at the Omni Dallas Hotel is a vital leadership position primarily focused on supporting daily operations and supervising staff within the Texas Spice Restaurant and In-Room Dining services. This role is designed for a motivated, service-oriented individual who thrives in managing operational excellence while ensuring guests receive superior dining experiences. The Assistant Manager is charged with maintaining high levels of guest satisfaction by overseeing smooth service delivery throughout all meal periods. This includes coordinating team meetings, facilitating ongoing staff training, and leading daily pre-shift briefings with service personnel to set clear expectations and promote service standards. The Assistant Manager actively supervises floor operations, assisting in service execution where necessary to ensure efficiency and positive customer interactions. A key aspect of the role involves monitoring service flow and timing, sustaining professional appearance among team members, upholding food quality and presentation standards, and promptly addressing any guest concerns with professionalism and a solution-focused approach. Administrative responsibilities include creating and maintaining weekly staff schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels across departments.
