Ebenezer is currently seeking a Server/Culinary Assistant to join the dedicated team at Amira Choice Sarasota. This role is essential in providing exceptional dining experiences to senior residents within the Assisted Living Community. The Server/Culinary Assistant is responsible for meal service in the dining rooms, ensuring residents receive nutritious and timely meals while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. In addition to serving meals, this role involves maintaining kitchenettes, managing supplies, supporting meal preparation, and assisting with special events. The successful candidate will also be engaged in sanitation duties including cleaning equipment, work areas, and floors, as well as aiding with dishwashing and communicating effectively within the team by answering phones and addressing requests as needed. This is a part-time role with a nutrition services schedule that includes approximately 8 hours every two weeks, specifically during week 2 on Saturdays and Sundays from 4 PM to 8 PM. The schedule also includes day/evening shifts, every other weekend, and a holiday rotation, designed to provide flexibility while supporting the community’s operational needs. Ideal candidates will bring a customer service-oriented mindset and a positive demeanor, showing a genuine desire to work compassionately with seniors. While prior experience is preferred in customer service, it is not a strict requirement, emphasizing the importance of interpersonal skills and teamwork in this role.
