The Host Cashier position at Bob Evans plays a crucial role in creating a first-class dining experience for guests. This role involves warmly greeting and seating guests, managing wait times effectively by collaborating with restaurant managers, and maintaining an organized and clean entrance, lobby, and retail area. As a host cashier, you will be the first point of contact for guests, delivering menus and kid packs, handling guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism, and ensuring all guests feel valued and cared for throughout their visit. The host cashier is also responsible for processing cash and credit transactions accurately and supporting marketing efforts by communicating promotions and product information to guests. This role is designed for individuals who have excellent guest service skills, are detail-oriented, can multi-task effectively, and enjoy working in a fast-paced but supportive team environment. Physical stamina is required due to the nature of the job, including standing and walking for long periods and some lifting and carrying of items up to 50 pounds. • 0-2 years related experience
