This opportunity is with a vibrant and well-established bar aiming to become the Best Corner Bar in Town by delivering outstanding guest experiences and exceptional service. Operated with a strong focus on quality, efficiency, and hospitality, the establishment prides itself on maintaining industry-leading beverage quality and optimizing operational profits through effective marketing strategies and excellent management practices. As a Bar Manager, your primary role is to oversee and manage all bar operations, ensuring that every aspect runs seamlessly. You will develop and lead a team of bartenders who excel in delivering quick and precise beverage service and create a welcoming environment that speaks to the bar’s commitment to guest satisfaction. Your leadership will directly impact the bar's profitability through controlling beverage costs, managing labor, and maintaining beverage quality. Additionally, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales via local marketing campaigns, promotions, and community engagement. The Bar Manager will be responsible for staffing, coaching, training, and performance reviews to foster talent development within the team. You will be the face of the establishment during shifts, frequently interacting with guests to uphold the bar’s service style and promptly addressing any guest concerns or complaints. Moreover, you will manage inventory, oversee sanitation, ensure adherence to safety protocols, and maintain equipment to support smooth daily operations. In the absence of the General Manager, you will act as the Manager on Duty, overseeing the entire restaurant operation to ensure continuous excellence in service and operation consistency. Your strategic decision-making skills will be vital in resolving guest and employee relations issues, selecting and terminating team members, and implementing sales and recruitment strategies. Success in this role is measured by guest satisfaction scores, quality of operations, sales growth, budget compliance, waste management, and employee retention.   • College coursework with Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Minimum of 6 months restaurant management experience
  • Minimum of 2 years bar experience with extensive knowledge
  • Prior experience in purchasing and production
  • Ability to walk and stand during shifts up to 10 hours
  • Frequent bending and stooping
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs including beer kegs
  • Must read, write and speak English
  • Ability to hear well in loud environments
