The Assistant Manager helps lead a team committed to ensuring that "every guest leaves happy." Financial acumen is important as you will need to understand cost control procedures, inventory, financials, and labor management. Assistant Managers take ownership of an "Area of Impact (AOI)" in one of four key areas: The Kitchen, Sales, Showroom, and Gameroom. This rotational system provides robust exposure and development across various operational facets. Kitchen management includes overseeing product ordering, food safety, scheduling, and cleanliness, as well as managing pizza dough preparation and cooking menu items. Sales involve oversight of cashiers, the salad bar, and gift shop, monitoring sales results, inventory, ordering, and profitability management. Showroom responsibilities encompass leading birthday party planning and execution, maximizing booking and guest satisfaction. Gameroom duties involve partnering with the Technical Manager to maintain game and equipment functionality, analyzing game play data, and ensuring a clean, inviting environment. • Must be able to work 40 hours a week
• Must have a high school diploma or GED
• Must be at least 21 years of age or older (RVP approval may allow for hiring at the age permitted by local law for selling, ringing up, checking identification and serving alcohol)
• Minimum of one year of experience managing people, preferably in the food service industry, or experience as an Opening Coordinator for at least six months
• Must be able to lift or carry objects weighing 0-50 pounds during scheduled shift
• Must be able to stand, bend, kneel, reach, push/pull, walk and squat during scheduled shift
• Work environment includes flashing and flickering lights, moving mechanical parts, loud noise, exposure to non-weather related wet, humid, extreme heat and extreme cold conditions
