We are currently seeking a skilled and dynamic General Manager for our esteemed client, the Polish Airlines Lounge, located at O'Hare International Airport in Chicago, IL. This premium lounge provides a dedicated space for elite passengers to relax, rejuvenate, and enjoy a curated selection of food and beverages. The lounge features a buffet and a full-service bar designed to meet the high expectations of discerning travelers. The General Manager will take full responsibility for the daily operations of the Polish Airlines Lounge, overseeing a team that includes food and beverage operations managers, supervisors, bartenders, and custodial staff. This hands-on leadership role requires active involvement in daily service operations, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the lounge. Candidates should possess strong food and beverage knowledge and experience, a keen eye for detail, and an unwavering commitment to service excellence. As the key leader, the General Manager will foster a team environment that encourages motivation, coaching, and development of frontline staff.
In addition to managing staff and operations, the General Manager is responsible for financial oversight, including profit and loss management, inventory control, and cost management. This role demands a strong business acumen to meet and exceed company and client financial targets while maintaining the highest service standards. The successful candidate will work closely with Sodexo standards to ensure compliance with food safety, physical safety programs, and all regulatory requirements.

Experience in premium suites, arenas services, cruise lines, or high volume catering is advantageous. Candidates must demonstrate professional communication skills, a passion for exceptional customer service, and the flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed.
