The position available is a specialized role designed to oversee and manage property operations for assigned hotels within a district or region. This role involves being deployed for special tasks or specific projects and acting as a relief General Manager at various Extended Stay Hotels. The incumbent will provide interim coverage for General Manager or District Manager positions, ensuring smooth and efficient hotel operations. Key responsibilities include leading staff, directing day-to-day activities, and managing all aspects of hotel operations to meet profitability and guest satisfaction goals. The role emphasizes achieving and maintaining 100% guest satisfaction through dedication to service excellence.
The candidate will work closely with regional leadership, corporate teams, and other support functions to identify opportunities for coaching and mentoring to meet company goals. This position requires extensive travel, approximately 85-90%, to different hotel locations within the assigned territory. The role demands strong leadership skills, operational expertise, and the ability to adapt quickly to various hotel environments and challenges.
Beyond daily management tasks, the role includes sales and lead generation efforts compliant with company guidelines, financial oversight including managing receivables, commission payments, payroll, procurement, and labor standards to maximize profitability. The position also involves employee recruitment, training, performance management, and ensuring adherence to company policies and standards. Familiarity with operational systems such as Medallia, ADP, and Verian is essential for providing proper guidance and maintaining operational efficiency.
