The Restaurant General Manager (RGM) role at BURGER KING is a full-time leadership position responsible for the overall management and profitability of a single restaurant location. The RGM works under the guidance of the District Manager and leads a team comprising an Assistant Manager, Hourly Shift Coordinators, and 20 to 45 team members. This executive role requires a dynamic leader focused on four critical areas: profitability, guest experience, team development, and operational efficiency. The RGM holds primary accountability for the restaurant's profit and loss (P&L) statements and actively manages all financial aspects to drive sales and maximize profitability. This includes regular review and strategic management of key P&L lines to ensure the restaurant meets its financial goals.
In addition to financial management, the RGM is deeply involved in enhancing the guest experience by motivating and directing the team to deliver accurate, friendly, and fast service in a clean and welcoming environment. They handle guest feedback proactively by addressing issues promptly and developing action plans to resolve root causes. The role also focuses on community outreach and marketing initiatives to engage potential guests and build brand loyalty locally.
People management is another cornerstone of the RGM's responsibilities. This includes leading recruitment and selection processes to build a skilled and dedicated team, onboarding new team members through comprehensive training, and fostering a positive working culture by managing recognition programs and providing consistent coaching and feedback. By enhancing the team's abilities and morale, the RGM ensures high performance standards and operational excellence.
Operational oversight ensures compliance with government regulations, employment laws, and BURGER KING corporate policies while maintaining brand and operational standards across all areas. The RGM also manages labor schedules to optimize staffing efficiency and periodically performs duties of subordinate managers or coordinators to maintain seamless restaurant function. - Must be at least eighteen years of age

- 1-2 years of previous restaurant management experience
