We are currently seeking a skilled and dynamic professional to join our culinary team as a Sous Chef. This role is pivotal to the smooth operation and success of our kitchen, assisting the Executive Chef with the supervision and management of food preparation staff. The Sous Chef will play a key role in maintaining the high culinary standards that our guests expect while ensuring that all kitchen operations are efficient and compliant with health and safety regulations.
In this capacity, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that range from scheduling and staffing to inventory control and menu development. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure, and a deep understanding of culinary arts and kitchen management. This is a full-time position that offers an opportunity to contribute creatively to our menu planning and special event catering efforts. The role involves close collaboration with the Food and Beverage Manager and sales staff to ensure seamless execution of banquets, parties, and other special events, enhancing the overall guest satisfaction. You will be entrusted with the responsibility of maintaining budgeted revenues and expenses, optimizing profitability, and contributing to the financial and operational planning of the restaurant in alignment with the hotel's objectives.  - High school education and relevant training and experience required
 - Additional education preferred
 - Ability to timely obtain any required licenses or certificates
 - CPR training required
 - First aid training preferred
 - Additional language ability preferred
