Prestonwood Baptist Church-Plano Campus (PBC-PC) is a vibrant and dynamic faith community committed to nurturing spiritual growth and fostering meaningful connections among its members. As an extension of the larger Prestonwood Baptist Church network, PBC-PC embodies a mission centered on discipleship, outreach, and impactful ministry. The church continuously strives to provide an engaging, supportive environment where adults can deepen their faith, serve one another, and participate in life-changing events and programs designed to enrich their spiritual journey. This role within the Adult Ministry team at PBC-PC is a key strategic and administrative position focused on organizing, managing, and assisting with various projects and events that align with the church's vision and mission. The individual filling this role will champion the church's core values, ensuring that all adult ministry initiatives reflect the church's commitments to faith, community, and service. This position is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional with a passion for ministry, project management, and event coordination to contribute to the growth and effectiveness of adult ministry programming. The Adult Ministry Coordinator will play an integral role in working collaboratively with different ministry groups across Prestonwood Baptist Church campuses to create a cohesive and unified approach to communication and event execution. This involves coordinating the rhythm and timing of calendared events in alignment with the Discipleship team's vision, ensuring each event is thoroughly planned, promoted, launched, and reviewed according to church policies and standards. Furthermore, this role includes budget oversight for special events and projects with a responsibility to monitor expenses and maintain accuracy in financial reporting. The position requires proactive assessment and enhancement of ministry practices to increase their impact, along with managing the tasks related to LifeGroups through coordination with Adult Ministry assistants and interns. The successful candidate will also collaborate with the Family Discipleship team, facilitating the planning of recurring and annual events geared towards building stronger family and adult connections within the church community. Supporting Adult LifeGroup leadership volunteers is another critical function, providing encouragement, resources, and training to ensure these leaders are equipped to fulfill their roles effectively. Operational logistics such as organizing and maintaining the Adult Ministry suite — keeping supplies stocked, equipment functional, and workspaces orderly — also fall under this role’s responsibilities. This full-time position requires a flexible schedule, primarily onsite Monday through Friday, with occasional evenings and weekends to support church events and needs. Candidates must demonstrate a commitment to confidentiality and possess the physical ability to engage in desk work and perform various physical tasks including lifting and moving equipment. This role offers a meaningful career path for those committed to advancing the church’s mission through strategic ministry administration and community engagement.
