Community Health Services, Inc. is currently seeking a full-time Medical Receptionist for their Adult Medicine Department. This role is non-exempt and offers competitive hourly compensation ranging from $18.25 to $22.81. The Medical Receptionist plays a critical role as the frontline representative of the Adult Medicine team, interacting directly with patients and managing the flow of communication and scheduling within a busy medical practice. Reporting to the Practice Manager, the individual in this position will be responsible for making outbound calls, managing telephone inquiries, scheduling appointments, and ensuring the accuracy of patient information entered into the electronic health record system. This position demands exceptional customer service skills, proficiency with electronic medical record systems, and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Attention to detail and a commitment to confidentiality are paramount, as is the ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment with changing priorities. Candidates must be open to working extended hours, including some evenings and weekends, with advance notice. Experience in a multi-provider medical practice and working with diverse patient populations is highly valued. Furthermore, bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is strongly preferred, reflecting the community's diverse needs.
