The Marketing Administrator role at Battlefield Mall is a critical position that supports the Director of Marketing/Business Development, Office Administrator, and Mall Manager in the development and execution of comprehensive mall marketing programs. This role requires a dynamic individual skilled in coordinating community-based initiatives, managing retailer relations, and enhancing the mall’s online and offline promotional efforts. The successful candidate will play an active part in the preparation, coordination, and supervision of various promotions and events aimed at boosting mall traffic and engagement. Responsibilities include maintaining the mall website and social media communications, handling collateral marketing materials, working closely with tenants to compile sales data, and assisting with contracts and purchase orders. Moreover, the Marketing Administrator will support the administration of sponsorship and event deals, including processing contracts, monitoring performance, and forecasting revenues. This position demands creativity, strong organizational capabilities, and excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with tenants, customers, and internal teams.
This is an office-based role where the Marketing Administrator will be embedded in a fast-paced environment, requiring flexibility and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively. - College degree preferred
- 1-3 years administrative office experience in a fast paced environment
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and bookkeeping software
- Effective verbal/written communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
- Effective customer service skills for interaction with customers, tenants, and co-workers
- Flexible and able to work well independently and as part of a team
- Creative and capable in using imagination to develop new and original ideas in an artistic context
- Active involvement with promotion, event and special occasion coordination a plus
