The Day of Coordinator role at A Touch of Bliss is an integral position responsible for managing the entire wedding day experience. This part-time opportunity involves coordinating, managing, preparing, and executing wedding day events while maintaining poise and professionalism. Coordinators handle between five and twenty-five weddings per season, working closely with clients and vendors to ensure smooth communication, meticulous attention to detail, and timely execution of tasks. The role demands physical stamina, as coordinators are actively on their feet for 9 to 12 hours and must be prepared to handle last-minute challenges with grace and efficiency. Key responsibilities include introducing themselves to couples, scheduling and conducting detailed planning meetings, creating and implementing wedding day timelines and floor plans, liaising with vendors, attending rehearsals, managing wedding day logistics, and addressing any arising issues promptly. Coordinators are also expected to carry and set up decorations, handle uncomfortable family dynamics diplomatically, and maintain a positive and reassuring demeanor throughout. Compensation includes a flat fee per wedding plus an hourly rate for eligible logged hours such as venue walkthroughs, rehearsals, and wedding day activities, with expected earnings ranging between $650 and $750 per wedding.
