The Crew Member position involves working in multiple stations within the restaurant, handling various tasks that ensure food safety and customer satisfaction. This position requires flexibility, a keen eye for detail, and a strong work ethic, as well as the ability to follow established procedures and standards. As a Crew Member, you will prepare and serve fast-service foods, take customer orders, and handle cash or electronic payments accurately and efficiently. You will monitor the holding times of cooked or prepared food to ensure compliance with safety standards, discarding items when necessary to prevent serving stale food. Maintaining kitchen cleanliness is a critical aspect of the role, including washing trays, pans, racks, and other kitchen equipment by hand. You may also be responsible for cleaning restaurant areas such as walls, tables, seating, floors, restrooms, and even the parking lot to uphold a high standard of hygiene and present a welcoming environment for customers. Beyond basic duties, if you work as a closing crew member, additional responsibilities include dismantling and sanitizing cooking equipment, cleaning hood filters, handling fryer vats and oil disposal safely, and scrubbing and degreasing floors. These tasks are essential for maintaining operational efficiency and ensuring a safe and clean work environment.
