The Warehouse Associate position at Scandinavian Designs - Dania Furniture is a full-time, non-exempt hourly role based at two locations in Oregon: 1905 NE 41st Ave., Portland, and 9650 SE 82nd Ave., Clackamas. This role offers a competitive wage of $19 per hour, paid bi-weekly, and involves working in dynamic warehouse environments where safety, efficiency, and customer service are top priorities. Warehouse Associates play a critical role in ensuring an excellent customer experience by managing inventory, assembling and handling merchandise carefully, and facilitating smooth delivery operations. The role requires transporting, loading, and unloading furniture items, often heavy and uniquely shaped, while adhering to all company safety protocols. Associates also assist in maintaining showroom and warehouse cleanliness and organization, tagging merchandise properly, and occasionally travel to customer locations to perform deliveries, assembly, or repairs. Proficiency with various equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand tools is essential, and candidates must be able to lift a minimum of 75 pounds regularly.   • 1-3 years work experience preferably in a warehouse environment
  • excellent customer service communication skills
