The SNS Supervisor reports to the Assistant Managers and the SNS Director, working closely with kitchen staff to deliver an efficient, safe, and welcoming meal experience for children. This role includes responsibilities such as coaching and mentoring food service staff to enhance their skills and performance, monitoring point-of-sale systems for accuracy, troubleshooting equipment issues, and managing inventory and ordering supplies. The SNS Supervisor also plays an important role in enforcing food safety regulations including HACCP and maintaining compliance with meal program guidelines to ensure the district meets all required standards. The position offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $27.41 to $33.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications, and adheres to a work schedule that varies between school year and summer operation days. During the school year, the schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., for 178 days, while summer hours reduce to 6 hours per day from 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday, for 51 days. The overall work calendar totals 229 duty days annually.
