This opportunity is for a full-time Barista role—an exciting, fast-paced position designed for individuals who thrive in social settings and enjoy creating memorable customer experiences. As a Barista at Aramark, you will be an integral part of a team that delivers high-quality specialty drinks and food items. Your role involves preparing coffee, tea, and specialty beverages according to brand standards, assisting with food preparation, and managing cash and credit transactions through the point-of-sale system. You will greet and assist customers, anticipating their needs and ensuring they have a positive experience.
In addition to beverage preparation and customer service, the Barista position requires maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the workspace, stocking coolers and service items, and adhering strictly to health and safety guidelines. The job may include physical tasks such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended periods of walking or standing. Employees in this role are expected to follow dress codes and may use personal protective equipment as necessary. - High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in customer service preferred
- Previous cash handling experience preferred
- Previous barista or food service experience preferred
- Basic math skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to follow recipes and communicate clearly in English
- Completion of Food Handling Certification as required
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and pushing
- Compliance with dress code and use of personal protective equipment as necessary
