Agents work closely with airline staff, airport personnel, and passengers to ensure service is seamless and meets all required regulations and standards. This role demands a high level of attention to detail, including thorough equipment checks and strict adherence to safety procedures such as locking wheelchair wheels and never transporting passengers on stairways or escalators. The Wheelchair Agent also handles documentation and communicates effectively with supervisors and team members to address any issues promptly. Given the nature of the position, agents must be physically capable of lifting, pushing, and assisting passengers and equipment and must maintain a professional appearance at all times.

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous airport and/or customer service experience preferred
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must have a reliable telephone and transportation
- Treat all information as confidential
- Possess tact to deal with all levels of situations, client representatives, employees and the public
- Must be able to read, understand and carry out instructions in English
- Ability to work from verbal and written instructions
- Ability to communicate in English clearly and concisely verbally and in written form
- Must be able to lift, stoop, squat, push, stand and/or bend throughout the shift
- Must be able to lift, carry and/or hold up to 75 lbs
- Must pass pre-employment and random drug test
- Must complete a criminal background check
