The role at hand is for a Safety Manager at Webber, a vital position responsible for owning the safety aspects of Webber’s Waterworks projects. This full-time role involves working onsite to ensure compliance with company policies and federal/state safety regulations. The Safety Manager will drive a "Safety First" culture throughout the project, collaborating with all management levels and operational teams. Responsibilities encompass planning complex safety initiatives such as critical lifts, traffic controls, and work plans, managing the selection, training, and appraisal of project safety staff, as well as maintaining strong partnerships with owners, representatives, and public entities involved in the projects. The role also involves anticipating and resolving project conflicts through proactive communication and strategic planning. Ideal candidates will possess certifications such as CSHO or CSHT, have a minimum of five years of construction safety management experience, and hold a valid driver’s license for frequent travel. Proficiency in English communication is essential while Spanish communication skills are considered a plus. A strong understanding of mathematical concepts related to probability, statistics, geometry, and trigonometry is advantageous.
