The position of Warehouse Worker at Aramark is a vital role focused on the efficient handling of incoming and outgoing products within a warehouse setting. The hourly compensation for this role ranges from $18.00 to $18.50, reflecting Aramark's reasonable market-based estimate for this position. The Warehouse Worker will be responsible for receiving, inspecting, and accurately labeling products while ensuring discrepancies between deliveries and invoices are noted and reported. Inventory control is a key part of the job, which involves organizing goods in assigned locations and utilizing a First In, First Out (FIFO) methodology to manage perishable products effectively. The role requires the physical ability to operate equipment such as manual pallet jacks, electric pallet jacks, and forklifts, which may involve specialized training. Workers also have the responsibility to pick inventory to assemble orders based on requisitions or maintaining par levels, adhering stringently to Standard Operating Procedures to meet expected production and accuracy standards. In addition, the Warehouse Worker will be required to load, unload, and transport products within the warehouse or to other client locations, employing powered industrial vehicles or motor vehicles as necessary. Administrative duties are integral to the Warehouse Worker role, including completing records such as inventory counts, temperature and spoilage logs, and equipment inspections either manually or through electronic systems like handheld devices or PCs. Maintaining workplace cleanliness and ensuring compliance with safety protocols is mandatory, covering areas such as restrooms, break rooms, loading docks, and freight delivery zones. Adherence to OSHA requirements, safety data sheet (SDS) standards, and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is essential to safeguard both employees and assets. • Must be over 18 years of age
• High school education or equivalent preferred
• Two years of previous warehouse experience preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Basic reading writing and arithmetic skills
• Basic computer skills
• Manual dexterity for operating machinery
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and frequently carry objects up to 35 pounds
• Valid driver’s license required for some client locations where applicable
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting bending pushing pulling and extended walking or standing
• Willingness to wear uniforms and personal protective equipment as required
