The Warehouse Person role at Core-Mark is a crucial position supporting America's food distribution system. Warehouse associates are the backbone of the company’s operations. They actively, safely, and independently manage the flow of products throughout the distribution process, maintaining stringent quality standards. This role demands working in cooler and freezer environments ranging from 36°F (2°C) to -10°F (-23°C), with freezer jackets provided for comfort and safety. The Warehouse Person is responsible for moving and tracking inbound, outbound, and stored products, offloading shipments, restocking shelves, selecting and replenishing products, and ensuring the warehouse remains organized and efficient. Operating Sunday through Thursday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, employees receive competitive pay starting at $20.00 per hour, with an additional $1.00 per hour for freezer work. • High school diploma or GED or equivalent
• Six plus months of warehouse or distribution work experience
• Six plus months of electric pallet or stand-up forklift experience
• Ability to work scheduled and assigned times and required overtime
• Ability to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift
• Ability to lift, stack, or pull products weighing between 10-35 pounds and up to 60-90 pounds
• Ability to obtain certifications for powered equipment such as forklift operation
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check
