The Warehouse Associate role at POOLCORP's Indianapolis, IN location (5521 W Minnesota Street, Indianapolis, IN 46241) provides an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic and fast-paced warehouse team. This position pays $19.50 per hour, with additional earning potential through performance bonuses of up to $2,500. The work schedule varies seasonally: during winter, the hours are Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm with no weekend or night shifts; in summer, shifts include a Monday through Friday schedule with rotating Saturday hours from 7:00 am to 12:00 pm. Warehouse Associates play a crucial role in supporting team efforts and ensuring timely and accurate processing of orders for delivery or customer pickup. This role is responsible for accurately pulling, filling, packing, and setting up orders, assisting with loading delivery trucks, receiving shipments, maintaining inventory through regular audits, and operating forklifts safely and efficiently while adhering to required certification standards. Communication with supervisors, sales staff, and customers is key to coordinating deliveries, pickups, and daily operational tasks. Maintaining a clean, neat, and safe warehouse environment is also essential. The Warehouse Associate role is considered safety-sensitive, carrying responsibilities that impact the health and safety of themselves and others.
