The current opening at Culinaire is for part-time Waiter/Waitress positions located at the Tobin Center for Performing Arts in San Antonio, TX. The position provides an hourly wage of $15.00 plus tips, along with the opportunity to pick up shifts in different roles within the organization, offering a diverse and engaging work experience. As a Waiter or Waitress at Culinaire, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing guests' dining experiences by promptly and warmly greeting guests, taking food and beverage orders, and ensuring timely delivery of orders in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards. You are expected to be knowledgeable about the menu, offering recommendations, and accommodating special dietary requests and allergens. The position requires strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with kitchen staff, manage guest requests, and handle any complaints professionally by escalating issues to supervisors when necessary. The role also involves maintaining a clean and organized dining environment, performing proper cash-handling procedures, and contributing to the overall efficiency and success of events held at the Tobin Center. Equipment operation, such as managing coffee machines and soda dispensers, is part of the daily duties.
