The Server will be an integral part of our dining service team, responsible for ensuring guests receive an unforgettable dining experience through attentive and friendly service. This includes greeting and welcoming guests promptly, taking accurate food and beverage orders using advanced POS systems like Aloha or Micros, and providing detailed menu knowledge including daily specials and wine pairings. In addition to primary serving duties, the role involves promoting menu items through effective upselling techniques to enhance the guest’s dining experience while boosting sales. The Server must maintain high standards of food and beverage presentation and ensure timely delivery of orders. Monitoring guest satisfaction is vital to this role, as is handling any concerns swiftly and professionally to maintain our reputation for excellent customer service. Moreover, the Server will be responsible for processing payments accurately using cash handling procedures and basic math skills, maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation standards of the dining area in adherence to strict food safety guidelines, and assisting with bussing and resetting tables for new guests. Collaboration with kitchen staff is essential to ensure smooth service flow and timely food preparation. This role demands strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently under the pressures of a fast-paced dining environment.
