The role available at the JBSA Fort Sam Houston Golf Course is a dynamic Food and Beverage Server position designed to provide excellent dining service in the golf course’s dining and party rooms. This role requires individuals who are physically fit, able to use both arms, hands, and legs, engage in prolonged periods of standing and walking, and capable of reaching and lifting objects typically weighing up to ten pounds. The server’s responsibilities revolve around preparing and organizing the dining area, serving food and beverages including alcoholic drinks, attending to guests’ needs in a timely and courteous manner, and helping with cleaning duties as necessary. This position demands strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a friendly demeanor to ensure a top-tier customer experience.
The Food and Beverage Server is expected to have familiarity with the menu, coordinate closely with supervisors on event preparation, and maintain proper table settings reflecting the occasion’s specific requirements.
