This role is vital in ensuring that the dining area is impeccably prepared before service, with tables set to restaurant standards including place settings and decoration arrangements that contribute to an inviting ambiance. The attendant will be the frontline representative in receiving guests, guiding them through the dining experience by making menu suggestions, answering queries about food, wines, and other beverages, and ensuring that every guest’s needs are met promptly and courteously. Responsibilities also include taking and placing food and beverage orders with the kitchen and bar staff efficiently to maintain smooth service flow. Handling payments securely by cash or credit card and maintaining accurate sales records is a key part of the position. Additionally, the dining room attendant may provide guidance and work direction to other dining room personnel as needed, contributing to a cohesive and effective team. The role requires a high level of customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. The working hours offer a competitive rate between 19.26 to 22.47 per hour, reflecting the importance of the position within our operational framework.
