The role of the Restaurant & Banquet Manager at Limelight Hawaii is a pivotal leadership position. This full-time role offers a competitive salary ranging from $65,000 to $70,000 and reports directly to the Director of Operations. The manager will be responsible for directing all front-of-house operations which include managing cocktail service, lunch, dinner, and banquet events. The position demands a high level of motivation, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to maintain seamless operations across both everyday restaurant service and large-scale special events. The Restaurant & Banquet Manager will lead an experienced team, ensuring the highest standards of guest service and operational excellence. This includes direct oversight of the hosting staff, bartenders, and wait staff; coordinating with the Executive Chef for smooth kitchen and dining room collaboration; and overseeing the ambiance and readiness of the dining environment. A critical aspect of the role is balancing guest satisfaction with operational efficiency, including managing labor costs and revenue targets. In addition to day-to-day restaurant management, the manager will handle all facets of banquet and event coordination. They will oversee event setups, service delivery, and breakdowns while liaising with sales, culinary, audio-visual, and entertainment teams to ensure flawless execution of weddings, corporate functions, and special events. This position requires strong leadership skills as they will supervise banquet captains and large event staff, ensuring consistent service quality.
