The Server Assistant position plays a vital role in supporting the front-of-house team by assisting with food and beverage service to ensure smooth and efficient dining experiences for members and guests. This role is central to maintaining high service standards and operational efficiency within the club's dining areas. Server Assistants take on essential responsibilities such as setting up dining spaces, cleaning, restocking supplies, delivering food and beverages, greeting guests, and fostering a friendly and professional environment. Their responsibilities extend to helping handle member requests and complaints by escalating issues appropriately to servers or management. This role reports directly to the Food and Beverage Director, Banquet Manager, or Restaurant Manager and is integral to the day-to-day operations of Invited's dining services. The Server Assistant collaborates closely with other team members to support service flow and enhance the guest experience. This role demands adaptability and eagerness to assist in tasks beyond the basics, including support during special events and large parties. Employees are expected to adhere to company, club, and department policies, maintain professionalism, and engage in personal and professional growth by completing relevant training and certifications. Physical endurance and the ability to perform various physical activities such as standing, walking, lifting, and carrying are necessary, due to the dynamic and sometimes physically demanding nature of the job. The position also requires compliance with safety and cleanliness guidelines to maintain a clean and safe workplace. Server Assistants use various tools including trays, POS systems, bottle openers, and wine tools to perform their duties efficiently.
