The Vice President, Hospitality Asset Management at San Manuel is a senior leadership position that oversees a complex and diverse portfolio of full-service lodging assets. This role requires a strategic and analytical mindset, focusing on long-term value creation through comprehensive market analysis, capital planning, and operational performance optimization. The Vice President is responsible for maximizing asset value and ensuring superior investment returns by providing executive-level oversight of hotel management teams to achieve operational excellence and enhanced profitability across properties. A significant aspect of this role involves collaborating extensively with internal stakeholders, external partners, and operators to align asset strategies with broader enterprise objectives and to promote cross-property initiatives that drive portfolio growth. The role involves rigorous performance monitoring using critical industry metrics such as Revenue Per Available Room (RevPAR), Average Daily Rate (ADR), Gross Operating Profit (GOP) margins, and guest satisfaction indices. Leading capital planning initiatives, the Vice President oversees long-term and annual capital expenditure strategies, ensuring projects meet brand standards and deliver value to investors. Additional responsibilities include negotiating and managing legal agreements related to franchise, licensing, and property contracts to safeguard ownership interests and comply with governance standards. The Vice President also directs the preparation of executive reports on market trends, capital deployment, and operational results, and supports strategic transactions including acquisitions, dispositions, and recapitalizations.   • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Real Estate or related field required
  • Masters degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Real Estate or related field preferred
  • Minimum of twelve (12) years of hospitality asset management, hospitality operations, or lodging real estate investment
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of supervisory experience required
  • Related, relevant, and/or direct experience may be considered in lieu of minimum educational requirements indicated above
  • Valid driver's license and vehicle insurance with minimum liability limits is required
  • Ability to travel regularly between locations
  • Ability to work evening, weekend and holiday shifts
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-demand environment
