The role of Valet Parking Attendant at Greystar is a pivotal position focusing on delivering exceptional service to residents and visitors by safely and efficiently managing their vehicles. This position entails responsibilities such as parking and retrieving vehicles in compliance with all relevant traffic laws and property policies. The Valet Parking Attendant must operate mechanical lift systems and vehicle elevators safely while immediately reporting any malfunctions to supervisors. A critical part of this role involves ensuring damage-free handling of vehicles, conducting thorough vehicle inspections upon receipt, and documenting any damage while under valet care to prevent disputes or claims.
In addition to operational duties, the Valet Parking Attendant plays a vital customer service role. They are expected to maintain a pleasant, friendly, and professional demeanor while greeting and assisting residents and visitors. This includes providing clear directions and responding promptly and politely to inquiries related to the property and its services. Valet Parking Attendants contribute to the overall goal of resident satisfaction, making them key ambassadors for the property's image.
This role is full-time and offers competitive hourly compensation ranging from $21.00 to $22.00, depending on factors such as business requirements, experience, skills, and location (specifically for San Francisco). Additional compensation may include eligibility for continued bonus programs based on individual and company performance, varying by corporate or onsite positions.
