The Executive Meetings Manager role at HHM Hotels is a critical position designed to oversee and coordinate small group meetings and room sales, driving revenue growth while delivering personalized service. The Executive Meetings Manager is responsible for managing the complete lifecycle of small meeting groups, typically with fewer than 20 rooms per night, including contract negotiations, rooming lists, billing, and VIP coordination. This role demands strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate across departments to ensure seamless event execution. In this position, you will be tasked with soliciting, negotiating, and confirming social group blocks, maximizing hotel revenue by promoting all facets of the hotel to previous, current, and prospective clients. You will also be expected to travel locally to conduct outside sales calls, compete in the marketplace, and build relationships that increase the hotel’s market share. Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the competitive landscape and applying sustainability practices aligned with HHM’s EarthView program are essential components. You will book and manage functions accurately using the SalesPro system, ensuring that event and room arrangements meet specified requirements. Alongside supporting the sales and catering departments, the Executive Meetings Manager will assist in supervising banquet operations to uphold the highest service standards. Handling guest inquiries, site inspections, and maintaining professional correspondence are crucial duties, as is preparing and customizing events to meet clients’ unique needs with a high degree of personalization. This position offers a clear career path progressing from Executive Meetings Manager to Group Sales Manager, then Director of Group Sales, and eventually Director of Sales, providing ample opportunities for professional advancement within HHM Hotels.   • 2-3 years conference services sales experience in hospitality, preferably in a luxury establishment
  • College degree in hospitality or business administration is required
  • Thorough knowledge of sales techniques including strong closing skills as well as negotiating skills
  • An understanding of both monthly forecasting and the annual budget process
  • SalesPro knowledge a plus
  • Rooms experience is a plus
