We are presently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Line Cook to join our skilled culinary team at The Club at Forest Ridge. This full-time position offers an hourly wage ranging from $15.00 to $18.00, reflecting the importance of the role in maintaining the high culinary standards expected at our dual restaurant venue. The ideal candidate will bring at least two years of professional experience in a high-volume, upscale culinary setting such as a restaurant, hotel, or country club. This role requires an individual who is enthusiastic about food preparation, meticulous about sanitation and safety standards, and capable of working effectively under pressure during peak service hours.
The Line Cook will be integral to supporting the preparation and execution of a diverse menu across both casual and fine dining areas. The role involves various culinary tasks, including setting up and maintaining cooking stations, preparing ingredients, and ensuring each dish is cooked and presented according to the club's specific recipes and quality standards. A strong emphasis is placed on consistency, quality, and timely execution, as the club strives to deliver impeccable service during all shifts. Candidates must demonstrate flexibility with scheduling, as the position will involve working early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays with shifts spanning both restaurants.
Safety and cleanliness are paramount in this position. The successful hire will adhere rigorously to local and state health regulations, including HACCP protocols, maintaining a sanitary workspace and properly handling food items. Collaboration is equally important, as the Line Cook will work closely with kitchen and serving staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations and seamless communication during service. The role reports directly to the Sous Chef and Executive Chef, who provide guidance and oversight to maintain kitchen excellence.
