As a local transport driver with MPC, you will perform essential duties such as pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with Marathon Petroleum policies and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. You will operate tank trucks or tractor-trailers safely and efficiently, obeying all federal, state, and local laws while following MPC’s site-specific procedures for loading and unloading. Attention to detail is critical, including logging inspection results, managing paperwork accurately, and communicating any safety or equipment issues promptly. • Ability to drive interstate
• License restrictions allowing operation of manual/automatic transmission

• Passing three-year DOT safety background check and seven-year criminal background check
• Passing pre-trip exam and road test
