The International Operations Agent role is a critical position within AIT’s air export division, responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient coordination of international freight forwarding shipments departing from the USA. This role demands strong attention to detail in managing daily air export operations, including shipment qualification, documentation, routing, and monitoring shipment progress. The agent works closely with customers, internal sales teams, and international partners to resolve shipment issues and ensure compliance with standard operating procedures and regulatory requirements. As part of their duties, the International Operations Agent will prepare accurate and profitable shipment quotations, enter and manage shipment data in Cargowise software, and handle all aspects of shipment tracking and billing. The position requires effective communication and problem-solving skills to manage delays, damages, and other logistical challenges. The role offers a wage range of $34.30 to $47.40 per hour, varying by geography, knowledge, skills, and experience. • High school diploma or GED
• 3-5 years industry experience in export/import operations
• Previous work experience in ITAR and Dangerous Goods regulations preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite

• Ability to multi-task in a high volume, fast-paced environment
• High attention to detail and strong organizing skills
• Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
