As a chef at Benihana, you will be responsible for interacting with guests, entertaining them with culinary performances, and ensuring that every meal is prepared to the highest standards. You will work primarily at the front of the restaurant, preparing and cooking meals on hibachi tables while engaging directly with guests.
This role offers an exciting combination of kitchen skills and customer service. You will learn how to prepare a wide variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, and other food items using various kitchen equipment like broilers, ovens, grills, and fryers. In addition to cooking, responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen and hibachi tables, adhering strictly to food safety and portioning standards, and contributing to the overall guest experience. The position includes a comprehensive five-week paid training program which covers not only cooking skills but also service excellence and guest interaction techniques, ensuring you are fully prepared to succeed.

- Must have a high school diploma or GED
- Must successfully pass Benihana chef training program
- Ability to engage and entertain guests
- Prior experience as a chef or cook preferred
