This role of District Manager within the Temecula area involves overseeing the operations of 5-6 Taco Bell restaurants. The District Manager serves as a pivotal leadership figure, responsible for guiding a team of restaurant managers to meet and exceed goals related to quality, customer satisfaction, employee development, safety, and financial performance. This position requires a hands-on, energetic leader who will ensure uncompromising execution of safety laws such as OSHA compliance and local health codes, along with strict adherence to company safety and security policies.
The successful District Manager must be proactive in coaching management teams, orchestrating employee training programs, and handling HR-related functions in coordination with the Human Resources department. This includes involvement in hiring decisions, employee orientations, investigations, and terminations. Additionally, the role focuses heavily on staffing management to maintain optimum levels of management personnel that can adapt to sales seasonality.
The District Manager will be expected to drive operational excellence by ensuring that every Taco Bell location under their supervision follows prescribed operational procedures while driving top-line sales growth. Employee morale is a high priority, so recognition, motivation, and fostering positive employee relations throughout the market are integral responsibilities.
Strategic use of available reports to seize business opportunities, formulation and enforcement of policies, and regular supervision of multi-department teams to deliver constructive feedback are critical to success in this role. With a minimum requirement of a 50-hour work week, candidates must be capable of managing multiple locations efficiently, handling high sales volume environments, and leading diverse teams.
