As a Busser, you will be responsible for following all company safety and sanitation policies and training procedures to uphold the highest hygiene standards. Your duties include cleaning and setting up tables for incoming guests, assisting with clearing dishes and glassware, and making sure that trash and debris are promptly removed from the bar and dining areas. You will also help maintain the cleanliness of restrooms, patios, parking lots, and waiting areas, contributing to an overall welcoming environment.
Additional responsibilities include ensuring that high chairs and booster seats are sanitary and ready for use, performing shift changes and opening or closing duties, as well as any assigned side work. The role demands physical stamina, including the ability to frequently reach, bend, stoop, and lift heavy items up to 50 pounds, which may have to be stored on high shelves or within coolers and freezers. Working conditions may include damp or high-temperature environments both indoors and outdoors.
Applicants must be able to communicate effectively by speaking, reading, and writing English. Completion and passing of Florida's Responsible Vendor program and a food safety certification program are mandatory, aligning with Flanigan's compliance standards and Florida statutes. This part-time to full-time position offers a predictable five-day workweek, emphasizing work-life balance.
