The United Airlines Airport Operations Supervisor is a key leadership role focused on ensuring the smooth and efficient running of airport operations. This position involves overseeing daily activities across various airport service points, from the check-in counters to departure gates, and managing behind-the-scenes operations such as baggage handling. The supervisor leads and develops front-line co-workers, ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality customer service and operational standards that align with the company’s guidelines. This role requires strong leadership capabilities to engage and motivate the team, monitor performance metrics, and facilitate continuous improvement.
As an Airport Operations Supervisor at United Airlines, you will be instrumental in shaping the customer experience, ensuring the on-time delivery of services, and maintaining safety and compliance standards. Your responsibilities will include leading performance dialogues, coaching team members, and managing performance issues with a focus on behavior change. You will serve as a subject matter expert on safety procedures and customer service, supporting your team to meet established goals and enhance operational efficiency. The role also encompasses administrative duties such as documentation, attending meetings, and participation in safety and accident review boards.
This position offers a base salary range of $75,970.80 to $92,853.20, depending on experience, education, and skills. Additionally, the role is eligible for bonus and long-term incentive compensation awards.
