The Kitchen Manager role at Cinemark is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing the back-of-house kitchen operations within the restaurant located inside the theatre. Acting as the culinary leader, the Kitchen Manager ensures that kitchen operations run smoothly, especially during busy, high-volume periods, by effectively managing kitchen staff, schedules, inventory, and food preparation processes. - Must be at least 18 years of age
- high school or G.E.D. graduate preferred
- minimum of 2-3 years of kitchen supervisory experience in a high-volume restaurant preferred
- completion of three basic courses (Management Foundations, Annual Certifications, and MAP Core) within Cinemark's Management Accreditation Program
- completes basic food handling training and obtains any local or state mandated certification, health card, or food handlers permit where required
- management members who work with alcohol are required to complete a Safe Alcohol Service training program
- availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- requires regular and consistent attendance
- has an energetic and friendly attitude during each shift
- provides excellent guest service
- possesses hearing, visual, and sensory abilities to observe and detect emergency situations
- ability to distinguish product taste, texture, temperature, presentation, and preparation
- finger/hand dexterity to operate kitchen machinery and knives
- accurate cash handling and basic math skills
- interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate verbally and in writing with all ages, genders, and personalities
